Speak your Mind

The piece that came out of my voice recognition interaction is a tool that currently has 2 functions. 

1. Poetry Visualizer - See the words you speak in a new light, singling out specific words or sentences. The piece works well for this now.

2. Train of Thought - Ideally the piece would record all things you say, eventually surrounding you, but the only way to do this right now is by continuously talking without break. This will result in the text surrounding you in a pleasing manner. This is why I refer to it now as a train of thought tool as you must continue to speak without thinking and it results in interesting statements.

The tool takes place currently inside your own brain. Neurons spread around you and in the distance you see what seems to be a vast universe, but rest assured these are just distant additional neurons in your brain. I chose to set this tool inside a brain to represent the personal conversations we all have inside our own heads. The piece is meant to last about 3 minutes and is a sort of free for all, allowing the user to experiment with the tool at their own will. The ambient song, produced by my brother, The Kount, is part of his new sound pack.
